El control de la gestión concejil: en torno a una rendición de cuentas en Asteasu (1502)

Abstract

The management of public funds and treasury, became with the control of council’s officers, one of the most importants field for councils. In fact, both things are very close, because officers were able to control funds and treasury in it’s own benefite. Of that, at Gipuzkoa, specially from last decades of XVth century, according to the creation of “regimientos”, writting of local regulations and crown’s control policy of the administrarion, protests related with irregularities increased, making posible some control mechanisms. Next lines goes to analise one of those mechanisms: the account or rendering of expenses at Asteasu in 1502.
