Centenario del nacimiento del intelectual, psiquiatra, político y escritor Luis Martín-Santos

Abstract

2024 marks the anniversary of the birth of the Basque psychiatrist,
writer, politician and intellectual Luis Martín Santos. His premature death,
prevents us from knowing how far his activity had come in areas where he
was notoriously prominent.
Looking at his biography, there are moments when one activity or
another takes precedence. 1950-1958 Psychiatric, 1958-1960 Political, 1960-
1962 Cultural participation in the Association of Artists of Gipuzkoa and
the so called Academia Errante, and from 1962, following the success of the
novel Time of Silence, its main focus was on literature. This is his life course,
which is more detailed in this work.
